Scout AI is building a robotic foundation model and autonomy stack for defense, focused on delivering mission-ready autonomy across land and air platforms in highly contested environments. We participated in the company’s seed round in September 2024, supporting its ambition to apply advanced AI to defense robotics from the earliest stage. Since then, Scout AI has introduced Fury, its defense-focused foundation model, and secured two U.S. Department of Defense contracts. The company also announced a $15M seed raise in April 2025, with Booz Allen Ventures joining as a strategic investor. Scout AI’s platform-agnostic approach positions it as a potential leader in deploying “physical AI” for critical defense applications.
